This site carries ten fixed advertising slots, five down each side. A slot shows a name only when someone has paid for it. An unsold slot stays empty rather than showing a placeholder, so what you see is the true state of the inventory.
We do not check the quality of any advertiser's work, their record, or their outcomes. A slot is space that was bought. It is not a recommendation, and you should judge an advertiser the way you would judge any other business you found in an advertisement.
Every visitor sees the same ten slots, in the same order, whatever they typed. The slots do not change based on your state, your claim, or anything you described.
Advertisers receive nothing about you. They cannot see what you wrote, and they are not told that you visited.
We are paid once, in advance, for a fixed piece of space for a fixed number of days. We take no fee from any lawyer for any client, no share of any fee, and nothing that depends on whether you contact anybody.
Lawyer advertising is governed state by state, and every advertiser is responsible for its own compliance in the states where it practises.
We read creative before it runs and we may decline it. That reading is ours, for our own site, and it is not a legal review of the advertiser's compliance. Do not treat the presence of an advertisement here as a sign that anybody has approved it.
It does not. No advertiser sees a guide before it is published, none can ask for a change, and no page is written, held back or edited because of who is buying space.
